完全予約制の 店主でもありアーティスト相田永美のアトリエ兼カフェです。
群馬の六合村という山の中、築２００年ほどの古民家で
わたしが作ったふしぎなイキモノたちに出会える場所です。
全て自身で作っているものだけなので 数は多くありません。。
お店の名前になっている" あるところにないところ "
この言葉は私自身が好きな言葉。
そしてものづくり、表現する上で意識しているものです。
曖昧で境目がない、あるのかないのか
まるで幻のように不確かななにか。
それをみつけ、カタチにしているのはあなたの
意識そのもの。
あるようでない、
その不思議を形にしたのがこの空間です。
きっとどこにいるのかわからなくなるでしょう。
この空間では陶器のイキモノや 絵や絵本を販売しています。
でもどれが商品なのかきっと境目がないので
その時あなたの意識で存在として認識し、出会ったものを
手に取ってくださいませ。
What is "あるところにないところ" (Arutokoroninaitokoro)?
"Arutokoroni" is a completely reservation-only atelier and café, run by artist and owner Eimi Aida.
Located deep in the mountains of Kuni Village, Gunma, in a 200-year-old traditional house, it is a place where you can encounter the mysterious creatures I create.
Everything here is handmade by me, so the number of pieces is limited.
The name "あるところにないところ" (Arutokoroninaitokoro) is a phrase I personally love in Japanese, and in English, it translates to "Where Presence Fades."
It represents an idea I always keep in mind when creating and expressing myself.
Something ambiguous, without clear boundaries—a presence that is uncertain, like an illusion.
The process of finding it and giving it form is driven by your own consciousness.
A place that exists, yet doesn't exist.
This space embodies that mystery.
You may find yourself unsure of where you are.
In this space, I offer ceramic creatures, paintings, and picture books for sale.
However, because there is no clear boundary between what is a product and what is not,
I invite you to recognize and pick up what resonates with you, acknowledging it as it exists in your own consciousness.
